Sometimes, you just want the convenience. No lines, no waiting: Just check yourself in and head for security clearance and the departure gate. Our self-service check-in kiosks are for you.

Hawaiian Airlines’ check-in kiosks are available in the departure lobbies of most airports we serve. When you skip the lines at the counters and check yourself in, you can

  • Check in for any Hawaiian Airlines or ‘Ohana by Hawaiian flight
  • View available seat assignments if necessary
  • Change or upgrade your seat, if available
  • Print tags for your check-in luggage at 7 Hawaiian Airlines airports

What You'll Need to Use the Kiosk

We promise; it’s quick and painless. In order to start, you’ll need one of the following:
  • Your confirmation code (6 letters)
  • Your E-ticket number (13 numbers)
  • Any valid credit or debit card in your name
  • Your HawaiianMiles account number on the reservation
  • OR, a boarding pass generated from a web check-in within 24 hours of departure.

What to do

Once you arrive at the airport, go to any self-service kiosk machine located in the check-in lobby of most airports serviced by Hawaiian Airlines and start the check-in process by following the below steps:
  1. Enter your confirmation code or E-ticket or HawaiianMiles number, or swipe a credit or debit card to search by name
  2. Follow prompts which will allow you to:
    • Select the number of check-in baggage
    • Assign, change or upgrade your seat
    • Add your HawaiianMiles number to your reservation
    • Purchase The Plumeria Lounge Pass
  3. Once your reservation is ready to go, you may print your boarding pass right on the spot

If for some reason self-service check-in isn’t working for you, please see an Airport Customer Service agent at the kiosks or check-in counter for further assistance.

Friendly reminder:

If you’re leaving Hawaii bound for North America from any city besides Honolulu, and you have check-in baggage, don’t forget to pass it through the required agricultural inspection before using a Kiosk. The Honolulu International Airport (HNL) is set up to inspect your baggage after you’ve completed check-in on the kiosk.

Seat Assignments via Kiosk

Kiosk check-in will allow you to look at the seat map and select an available seat. If you already have a pre-reserved seat, you’ll be able to choose a different seat, if it's available.

If you cannot get pre-reserved seats in advance, don’t worry, we’ll assign you seats at the gate. Please listen for your name to be called at the departure lounge.

Extra Comfort Seats, which are select bulkhead and exit row seats on North America and some International flights, may become available for purchase, while supplies last.
